Ceiling lamp with a diffuser open downwards, guaranteeing direct light onto the underlying surface, which adds to the suffused light that transpires through the matt glass. An anchoring solution has been designed, using a smaller ring nut that adapts the glass to a standard mount for different models and can be glimpsed discretely, making the glass the absolute main feature of the space. The lamp has a blown glass diffuser made using the technique of mouth blowing into a mould with a design engraved in it, enriching it with lines and folds echoing the weave of Scottish cloth and a graphic play of light and shadow. The acid etching technique used on the surface of the glass also produces a sensation of material softness which brings fabric to mind.
