Returns & Cancellations

Light&You brings to you a well curated collection from world over. Due to customs, shipping and duty fees involved, once we put your order in process, cancellations are not possible.

Returns are only allowed on defective Products (subject to conditions). All Products should be inspected on receipt by You and any defects shall be reported to Light&You in writing within 48 hours of receipt of the Product, to be applicable for a return of that defective Product. Post 48 hours, the Product will not be applicable under the return policy. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our Support Desk.

Light&You reserves the right to determine and confirm whether the defect is a manufacturing defect. Post written confirmation of such a manufacturing defect in the Product from Light&You, Yo shall be entitled to a refund of that Product, and the same shall be processed within 7-10 working days. Refund will be processed via the same online mode of payment used for purchasing the Product.


Warranty - Damages

Your special order travels a great distance, crossing international borders, to reach you. To ensure that it reaches you safely, in good condition, we lay a great emphasis on appropriate packaging to withstand handling by different people at various stages. Also, in view of fragility of some of the products, all your orders are insured till your doorstep. In order to safeguard your interest in case of damage during transit, we request you to take an open delivery of your order. This means that you carefully inspect order at the time of delivery without damaging the packaging. In case the product reaches you in a damaged condition, intimate us immediately and return the damaged Product to the deliverer in the packaging as received, for inspection by the insurance company. We may also request you to send us the images of the damaged product/part. We will arrange a replacement of the Product as soon as possible, depending upon the availability of the Product. In some instances, it is possible to repair damages with replacement parts. When this is the case, we reserve the right to utilize this as a solution. (Conditions apply)

Please keep in mind that the replacement option is available only for damage intimation at the time of delivery. Once the product has been delivered, no claims on transit damage will be accepted.


Warranty - Defective Products

However, we do not live in a perfect world! Sometimes, even despite meticulous care, defects do occur. There is a one year limited warranty against manufacturing defects offered on standard goods. Please read the conditions that apply on warranties.
