1. Where are the products from?

Light&You brings to you best of lighting products from reputed International designers and brands from all over the world.

2. How can I be sure of the quality and authenticity of the product?

Our products are from reputed International designers and brands as we are committed to bring to you only the best quality. Light&You procures these products directly from the manufacturers and not from any re-seller/agents, therefore, can vouch for authenticity of the same.

3. What will I do if the lamps/bulbs get fused? Where can I get replacement lamps?

To ensure that you do not go through any inconvenience, all the lamps/bulbs used in our collection are easily available in India. The lamp specification is mentioned on the product page. In case, you face any problem in sourcing a lamp, please get in touch with our Support Desk and we will be happy to assist you.

Very soon we will be offering all the lamps on our website as well.

Delivery / Shipping

1. How long will it take for the product to reach me after I place the order?

It would take approximately 4-8 weeks for your order to reach you. This timeline is in view of a lot of international brands in our portfolio which would need to be shipped from their country of origin. We have to keep under consideration that your special order is travelling a long way to reach your home. In case, the products reach us earlier, we would be glad to deliver them earlier. In case, there is a marginal delay, we request you to bear with us. You will, of course, get a call from our Support Desk in case of such a situation.

2. How much will the shipping cost be?

We offer FREE SHIPPING across the entire catalog of Products available on the Light&You Website at designated pin code areas. Please click here to check if we deliver at your pin code.

3. Will I have to pay any extra/hidden cost on delivery?

We offer FREE SHIPPING, PACKAGING and HANDLING across the entire catalog of Products available on the Light&You Website. However, certain states have mandatory Octroi/tax payable in certain cities by the customer. In case the pin-code entered by you during the checkout process of the Product falls under an area that requires mandatory entry tax/octroi, then you will be charged the same by the shipping/courier company that will collect and pay the same on your behalf. You will, of course, get a call from shipping/courier company to designate a time and date for delivery of the Product, on which the order will be delivered and entry tax/octroi, if applicable, will be collected against submission of tax receipt.

4. Can I have a different delivery address from billing address?

Gifting to loved ones is a wonderful feeling! Light&You can deliver to any address specified by you as long as it falls under our scope of delivery. Please click here to check if we deliver at your pin code.

5. Do you ship internationally?

At the moment we do not ship outside India, but we will soon be catering to design connoisseurs from all over the world. Please watch out for news from us on this space.

Return / Exchange

1. Can I cancel the order or return the product?

Light&You brings to you a well curated collection from world over. Due to customs, shipping and duty fees involved, once we put your order in process, cancellations are not possible.

Returns are only allowed on defective Products (subject to conditions). All Products should be inspected on receipt by You and any defects shall be reported to Light&You in writing within 48 hours of receipt of the Product, to be applicable for a return of that defective Product. Post 48 hours, the Product will not be applicable under the return policy. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our Support Desk.

Light&You reserves the right to determine and confirm whether the defect is a manufacturing defect. Post written confirmation of such a manufacturing defect in the Product from Light&You, Yo shall be entitled to a refund of that Product, and the same shall be processed within 7-10 working days. Refund will be processed via the same online mode of payment used for purchasing the Product.


1. How can I be assured that the product will reach me in good condition?

Your special order travels a great distance, crossing international borders, to reach you. To ensure that it reaches you safely, in good condition, we lay a great emphasis on appropriate packaging to withstand handling by different people at various stages. Also, in view of fragility of some of the products, all your orders are insured till your doorstep. In order to safeguard your interest in case of damage during transit, we request you to take an open delivery of your order. This means that you carefully inspect order at the time of delivery without damaging the packaging. In case the product reaches you in a damaged condition, intimate us immediately and return the damaged Product to the deliverer in the packaging as received, for inspection by the insurance company. We may also request you to send us the images of the damaged product/part. We will arrange a replacement of the Product as soon as possible, depending upon the availability of the Product. In some instances, it is possible to repair damages with replacement parts. When this is the case, we reserve the right to utilize this as a solution.

Please keep in mind that the replacement option is available only for damage intimation at the time of delivery. Once the product has been delivered, no claims on transit damage will be accepted.

2. What if the product turns out to be defective?

Light&You brings to you best of lighting products from reputed International designers and brands from all over the world with exceptional Quality Control Practices. However, we do not live in a perfect world! Sometimes, even despite meticulous care, defects do occur. There is a one year limited warranty against manufacturing defects offered on standard goods. 1. What are the different ways that I can make the payment?

The payment can be made online using a valid credit/debit and/or any other payment cards, online banking facility. Credit card holders of the following banks can also avail of EMI facility.

2. Can I do Cash on Delivery?

Currently, we are not offering Cash on Delivery. Please watch out for news on the same.

3. Do you charge VAT?

Light&You abides by Rules and Regulations of Company’s Act and the statutory government requirements. VAT is already included in the price that you see on your screen. On purchase of a product, the break-up of product price and VAT will be there on the sales invoice.

4. What if I want to buy in bulk? Do You Offer A Trade or Volume Discount?

Installation & Maintenance

1. Who will do the installation for me?

For most of the products, we will provide you with installation manual that can be followed step by step by your electrician for installation. In case you still want our technician to visit you for installation, we can arrange the same at additional cost. Please get in touch with the Support Desk for assistance on the same.

2. How do I maintain these lights?

Maintenance of these lights is very easy. Coming from renowned manufacturers, maintenance factor is well integrated in the design of the product. Please check Installation & Maintenance for a generic Do's & Don'ts manual.

The installation manual also contains maintenance instructions. Please retain and follow these instructions as the product warranties are dependent on adherence to installation and maintenance guidelines.


1. Are your products BIS approved?

Light&You collection is compliant with all BIS guidelines. All the lamps which are fitted with retrofitted LED bulbs are BIS approved as they are sourced from locally available BIS approved manufacturers. BIS is not applicable on lamps that use Halogen, Fluorescent and incandescent sources.
