Felicia Arvid began her path in fashion design, selling her first creations to Japan at the age of 18, and went on to study architecture at the Glasgow School of Art, combining her hands-on experience with fabrics with a deep awareness of structure and materials. Drawn to the interplay between uniqueness and repetition, her work often results in forms where simplicity surprises and seriality generates singular expressions. Her approach—merging material, function, and construction—has led to numerous international exhibitions and collaborations with companies such as Caimi Brevetti, for whom she designed the acoustic panel Klipper, winner of the Compasso d’Oro. With Foscarini, she continues her exploration of light and material, conceiving lamp design as a synthesis of formal poetry and functional clarity.
