Though Parachilna was founded in 2013, it’s built on a legacy that dates back to the 1930s, when the Riera family first stepped into the world of lighting. The original brand called Metalarte, was a pioneer in Spanish design. It gave opportunities to young designers that later became legends such as André Ricard, Antoni Arola or Jaime Hayon. Three generations later, Parachilna continues that journey—with a renewed spirit and a vision rooted in craftsmanship, innovation, and design culture. Parachilna is a platform for bold ideas. We collaborate with designers and artisans who challenge convention, blending tradition with experimentation.
