Diadema is a lighting system based on a single element, the rod of pure glass. It takes advantage of the way it reflects and transmits the light, while offering a sense of movement by using rods of different sizes. The metal body allows to offer multiple variations and ample space for custom-made versions with concealed metal body, thanks to the fixing system developed for this collection.

Romani Saccani Architetti Associati

Michele Romani and Mauro Saccani were born in the area of Milan in 1970. They got the Industrial Drawing Certificate at the Art State School in Monza and successively they graduated in Architecture at the Politecnico in Milan. In 1999, they co-founded a studio through which they started working in the field of lighting design, furniture and trade fair displays. Some of their projects were mentioned by the research group I.DoT '06/07 - Italian Design on Tour - as some of the best design works "Made in Italy". The lamp Diadema, produced by Vetreria Vistosi, was chosen by the ADI Design Index for the 21st edition of the Compasso d'Oro award.
