Kira is a collection of lamps combining metal with blown glass. The result is a set of lighting systems composed of two antithetical halves: a diffuser in crystal glass, decorated and embellished with a rich surface texture, topped with a turned metal cap, with a minimal and simple look. This collection combines contemporary forms to the preciousness and brightness of classical Venetian crystal chandeliers.

Saggia e Sommella

Valerio Sommella designs different kinds of products - from furniture to consumer electronic goods and lighting - both for Italian and international clients, including Alessi, United pets, Kundalini, Falmec, Panasonic, Toyota, Honda, Konica Minolta. He also lectures at prestigious Italian design universities. Alberto Saggia works with the firm Metis Lighting of Milan on international projects, dealing with industrial design and project management for renowned luxury brands. In recent years he has also held lighting design lessons in university courses, as well as being involved in design projects of decorative lighting for different firms
